1855 Tasting Series: Wines for the Thanksgiving Table

Join us at 1855 Lounge on November 15, from 3:30–5:00 p.m. for the second event in our 1855 Tasting Series, featuring wines to inspire your Thanksgiving table.
The tasting will begin with a dry Riesling from New York’s Finger Lakes, followed by a selection of wines beyond Cabernet Sauvignon, before finishing with a late harvest Riesling. Along the way, we’ll explore what makes the Finger Lakes such a distinctive wine region, just a few hours from State College, and share ideas for pairing wine with your holiday meal.
Each pour will be accompanied by culinary pairings from 1855 Lounge, offering a chance to discover how food brings out different qualities in each wine. We’ll close with a closer look at dessert wines and their place at the table.
